Carlos Santana made it a point to give his time and energy to groups addressing human rights issues, and he headlined the Blues For Salvador benefit, targeted to help needy Salvadoran children, in January, 1988. The blues artist jammed with the Caribbean Allstars at this concert, which also featured some of the greatest solo and group blues acts of the decade.
