George Harrison's third solo recording was recorded in September and October 1974 and rushed to stores in time for a North American concert tour by Harrison and friends that kicked off the next month. He made the album while in the throes of long-term laryngitis and a breaking heart, with both in full exhibit on the record and on the road while touring.
