Jesse Fuller - vocals, guitar, percussion, harmonica, kazoo
Live recordings of Fuller are rare and this one is very good quality and his complete set. If you're not familiar with him, he is most recognized for writing the classic song, "San Francisco Bay Blues," which has been covered by countless other artists. Fuller is also a strong root element in the music of The Grateful Dead and Hot Tuna, both of which recorded several of his songs. He's quite an interesting musician who veered away from typical slow blues formats, preferring a more uptempo rhythmic style. He's also a one man band who played several instruments simultaneously.
