There's no reason to beat around the bush here: Twin Peaks absolutely slaughter. If you have issues with young rock and roll bands leaving a bland taste in your mouth, or if they tend to hold the wrong idols up as inspiration, what you get with this bunch of gritty boys from Chicago is something like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers not showering for a week and getting all crazy like the Black Lips or Fidlar. It will make you want to shower with beer and it will then make you feel as if you have every right to indulge that urge to piss off the balcony, or the roof. The confident delivery of frontman Cadien Lake James is all "Damn The Torpedoes," along with a whole lot of infectious charm that makes everything the band does sound like an original take on a tried and true sound.
