Before you know it, you can be stuck in one of these light fevers that come out of Young Summer songs. They are the fevers that you know will pass. They've always passed before. They aren't to be worried about. They're fleeting, but they're uncomfortable. They get to you and sink their teeth in, but you can feel the end in sight before they even get to their maximum severity. You're able to keep your head about you. It's funny because the fevers that occur here have a strange effect on you. They make you want to throw on the biggest winter coat you can find. It's what you feel like you need to fight it, to fend it off. They make you feel like bundling and hunkering down.
You can feel their hard breathing on your skin. Your pulses ripples a bit slower. You feel as if you're hearing the waves crashing from thousands of miles away. These are the thrilling pieces of life that you're unsure how to categorize when they're happening to you. You feel as if you've been sunk into some deep waters, thrown into a raging fire or hugged to death. Many times, it feels like you're getting all three at the same exact time.
