In the summer of 1967, Bill Graham took two of his San Francisco favorites to the 'Great White North' for 'The San Francisco Scene in Toronto' - The Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane. BG074 is among the rarest of posters. There are hard to verify stories that the original cache of posters was confiscated at the Canadian border by border patrol, but whether the posters were seized or simply put away by contented Canadians, this summer concert made a big impression.
Print Variations
The 1st printing poster was printed before the concert on two different kinds of paper, one a thick poster board and the other a thin regular stock version. This original printing measures 13 15/16" x 20 7/16".

The 3rd printing is on glossy cover stock and also bears a Wolfgang's Vault notation in the lower right hand margin. It was printed in 2006 by the Bill Graham Archives LLC in a 1000 copy run and is larger than the other printings, measuring 22 3/8" x 32 1/2".
