Silkscreen geniuses Michael Rios and Tony Machado were closely linked with Santana artwork via a Rios-Santana friendship that dated from 1987. The image-laden BGP105 was representative of the artists' complex design work and was a pastiche of symbols that reflected the diverse fare, from blues to reggae and everything in between, on stage in Oakland on New Year's, 1994.
