These classic Detroit rock shows, ranging from June 7th - 9th of 1968, were the last time Cream played the Grande Ballroom. With over 2,000 attendees rocking out in 100 degree heat, the MC5 got the waning crowd riled up by announcing their plan to disintegrate an American flag. Needless to say, the Detroit audience was worked up into a frenzy by the time power-trio Cream took to the stage.
