By the time of the 8th Bridge School Benefit in 1994, Pearl Jam had become an enormous draw and the demand for tickets had never been greater. So much so, that for the first time since Peggy and Neil Young began spearheading these annual fundraising events, an unprecedented second night was added. Recorded shortly before the release of their third album, Vitalogy, presented here is Pearl Jam's set from that evening, direct from the Bill Graham Presents masters.

Several choice songs from Pearl Jam's first two albums appear, including an improvised version of "Daughter" that includes a few nods to Neil and a fine performance of "Black" with Heartbreaker Benmont Tench contributing piano. This unique set also features an acoustic performance of the forthcoming Vitalogy track "Immortality" and Eddie and Jeff teaming up on vocals for the rarity "Bee Girl" to close the set. This two-night engagement is also notable for being drummer Jack Iron's formal debut with Pearl jam, although he would be relegated to hand percussion to accommodate the acoustic nature of this performance.
